Shine Boost
As daily car driver, your car gonna get oxidize and road grimes sticking to your car paint. All these contamination make your shiny paint looks dull. This service will removes all contamination on your paint and removes very light scratches and makes your paint shine like no other.

Paint Correction
Your car may look shiny and have mirror-like reflection, but when you take a closer look, it might has scratches, swirl marks and holograms. All these imperfections are caused by many factors such as wrong technique of washing, dying and waxing a car. Using car cover can also cause swirl marks and scratches. This service will fully removes all contamination, removes light scratches and reduce deep scratches.

Paint Correction on Purple Produa Myvi

Got a call from customer last week. He wanted me to detail his ride. After inspection, I suggest  a paint correction should be done on this paint. The owner agreed.

You might be wondering:

"Why did this guy chose an auto detailer instead of normal low cost car wash?"

"What is the difference between the service offered  by low cost car wash and auto detailing ?"

The answer, let the pictures speak for themselves...

The car initial condition:

It looked shiny...but wait..there were holograms, swirl marks and buffer trails!! let's take a closer look.

Yikes!!! This what you get when you send your car to low cost car wash.

Another defect and I am not really sure what causes it.

So, I started by washing the car first with Turtule Wax Ice Car Wash.Then cleaned the wheels with Black Magic Wheel Cleaner.

 Tools I ued to clean the wheels.

Ok done cleaning the car. Now it's time to clay the car. The purpose of claying is to remove all contamination(not visible to the naked eyes) prior to polishing. All this contamination cannot be removed by washing the car. I clayed the whole car since every part of the body was rough. The clay that I was using was meguiars clay bar.

Look at all the contamination that the clay picked up just by doing only 1/4 part of the roof!! 

Done clay the whole car. Next step :

1) Compound using Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Lake Country CCS Orange Pad

2) Polish using Meguiars Ultimate Polish and Lake Country CCS White Pad

3) Wax using Turtle Wax Wax It Wet 

50-50 difference after compounding. Look all the swirl marks gone.

 Wet sanding with 2000 grit and compound with wool pad to remove sanding mark

Cleaning the pad after 3 passes to reduce dusting and prevent swirl marks cause by drying product.

Paint Correction On Proton Saga

Hi all..so I just received my new backing plate and cutting & polishing pad bought from i4detailing (Click to go to i4detailing website). So I can start my next project..Yeayyyy!!! I am 1 step closer to become a detailer.

So, I am going to detail my mother's car. I inspected the car and found lots of deep scratchs..ouchhh!  /shock...Lots of work to be done here..brace your own self aiman!!! B-)

Equipment & Tools:

1. TW No Rinse Wash & Wax
2. Meguair's Clay Bar
3. Skil Polisher
4. Wool Pad
5. Lake Country CCS White Polishing Pad
6. TW Premium Rubbing Compound
7. TW Premium Polishing Compound
8. TW Super Hard Shell
9. Car Plan Black Trim Wax
10. Lots of Microfiber Towel

The car initial condition:

The car was washed first. After that clay the car to prepare the paint for compounding & polishing. Before compounding, I did a test on wool pad and a cutting foam pad. Just to see the difference on the cutting ability on this paint.

Result:

Wool pad:

 Removed all of the swirl marks.

Foam pad:

 Removed most but still left some tiny swirl marks. I am gonna use wool pad on this paint.

Deep scratches on the bonnet. Steps:

1) Wet sanding using 1000 to 2000 grit

2) compound using TW rubbing compound & wool pad

3) polish using TW polishing compound & Lake Country CCS White Polishing pad.

The result: Walla!! /wahaha

Scratches on car handle was removed:

Oxidation on signal light was removed:

Working on late night. Was worried I bothered the neighborhood with the sound of my rotary.

Scratches above tire. Steps:

1) Wet sanding using 1000 to 2000 grit

2) compound using TW rubbing compound & wool pad

3) polish using TW polishing compound & Lake Country CCS White Polishing pad.

Side door was hand compound & polish:

Plastic trim was restored using Car Plan Black Trim Wax.

After 3 rounds of this stuff:

Done with restoring the paint. Now it's time to protect the paint with Turtule Wax Super Hard Shell. As I was completely worn out that night, I decided to wax it the next day. See that water beading effect? That means the car got a layer of wax. It is one of the ways to check whether your car paint has wax on it or not.

After 2 full days of battling with tiredness, sleepiness and not to forget my father's demotivating word saying "buat apa la beria polish kereta...nnt hujan habisss" like 10 times /sweat...but all that fail to stop me from doing something that i am passionate about. bak kata orang putih "practice makes perfect". This is what I am doing.

The end result, cristal clear reflection!! :
